Lícia Santos was born in 1998 in Namibe, Angola. She is currently based in London completing her Fine Art Master's degree in Painting at Slade School of Fine Art, UCL. She graduated from Goldsmiths University in Fine Art and History of Art in 2020. In the same year, she was also recipient of the Euan Uglow Slade Scholarship and participant in series 7 of Portrait Artist of the Year. The artist has been part of group exhibitions in Luanda and London and works in Arts Education.


I am a visual and performing artist working with drawing, painting and dance performances. My work it's developed by encounters with people, their body language and life stories, and inspired by observations in nature, especially the sea and the desert.
